Mr. S. M. Nurul Hoque was one of the pioneers in the flourishing RMG sector in Bangladesh with his establishment of Mission Apparel Industries Ltd in 1984, where he chaired as Managing Director.
Mr. Hoque has been working with different trade bodies in Bangladesh and led Trade delegations towards the USA, Canada, and many European countries. Besides his own busy schedule, he served influential trade bodies, Holding different positions in the respective Organizations, like:
– Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI)
– Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA)
– Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI)
– Arbitration Tribunal of FBCCI
– SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
– Currently, he is serving as President of Bangladesh – Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI).
He has visited Myanmar, India, and China with the Hon’ble Commerce Minister and Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh respectively as entourage.
He was awarded as CIP (Commercially Important Person) in 2012 for a long, positive contribution to exports of Bangladesh and was also assigned as a Director of Agrani Bank Ltd. a nationalized government bank in Bangladesh.

Mr. Jamal Uddin is an Inclusive business start-up mentor and expert with more than 15 years of experience in inclusive business, HR business partnering, employee engagement, organizational development, social compliance and supply chain management in Bangladesh. In his career he has demonstrated exceptional ability to create several new ideas, demonstrate success and engage multiple stakeholders such as set up responsible business models for better employment and higher productivity or in projects to increase the purchasing ability of the poor garments worker through forming fair price shops inside the factory premises. These have become one of the success example for the whole garment industry in Bangladesh. He also made an income generating employee welfare fund model in the ready-made garments (RMG) industry through which poor garments workers got access to expensive medical funds and emergency loans.
Mr. Jamal now relentless in perusing sustainable business models for readymade garments (RMG) sector and green business beyond social compliance for better work place, climate resilience business and sustainability.
Mr. Jamal also represent Chairman of Standing Committee for Inclusive Business, SME and Investment of Dutch Bangla Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
